A Mental Snack (33)

Share your thoughts...

"When I was 5 years old, my mom always told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down 'happy.' They told me I didn't understand the assignment and I told them they didn't understand life." ~ Anonymous

Name one thing that makes you happy, there doesn't even need to be reason. It can be about yourself, your home, your environment.

funny quote. it's too much of a stretch that a 5-year-old says that, however, or maybe only someone that young and innocent can be so insightful.

The sight of diosma makes me happy. It fils me with a feeling I cannot put into words, so I suspect it comes from my early childhood, when the sense of all emotions was at their highest pitch. Joy and sorrow in equal measure. Diosma is a joyful experience. The sight of diosma makes me happy.

Hey, Melody, Jesus definitely brings hope and love to many people today, including my mom!

So, keep on loving him and write on!

Thanks, Falen (Sarah)! I try my best to get the best pictures for my writing, because I like to have cover art for my articles, I guess.

I love to rub the belly of dogs. Heck! I love petting dogs! They are just so cute and awesome!

Write on!

Quiet moments are always a nice touch to a hectic lifestyle such as my own, so I agree with you there, Carolyn!

Write on and get a nice cup of tea to enjoy the peaceful times in our lives!

Yes, Theresa, the beaches of California always have that nice cold, salty breeze and combined with he warm sun over our heads, it equals to perfect bliss.

Write on and ride on some waves!

Rafi, CAMBIO FORMA! I think you did misunderstand the question, but probably just saying that makes you a happy person!

Write on!

Kelly, I can definitely agree to that. Pets just know when people are down; they can just sense it. My dog, before he died, would always cheer me up when I was down. I'm hoping to get a new dog soon though.

Write on and tell your pets that you love them, I'm sure they will understand.

Hey, The Words Crafter/Becky! I agree with you that music is something that can always cheer me up and lighten the mood! Music is a very big part of my life, a giant part in everyone's lives really, and I'm glad that I have the ability to hear. We are blessed to hear such beautiful sounds.

Write on and rock it out!

Nicole, creativity is a great part in a writer's life. So, once you get that awesome thought out of nowhere for a story, it will just make your day.

Write on and get every cool idea down before it escapes your mind!

Clarissa, family is a very important thing that makes anyone happy. You are blessed with a son and I'm happy for you. I'm thankful for my family, too. My brother, mother, father, and aunt that all live with me, are a very huge influence on my life. They are one of the reasons why I continue to live.

Write on and tell the people you love that you love them with a hug, with a kiss, with everything you got!

Vatche said...

Hey, Ed! I'm glad that you found my blog, so I hope to see you more around!

It is kind of a stretch for a five year old to say such things, but still a person can believe, can't they?

As for laughter and sleep, they are a staple in all our lives. Write on!

Vatche said...

Nehha, your loved ones are blessed to have you and you are blessed to have them. To have someone love another and another to love someone in return, that's what makes life worth living.

Write on and love on!

What a beautiful and unique happiness you have, Elisabeth. Diosma, a flower, and it's scent bring you joy. Flowers are a nice touch to everyone's day.

I recommend that you buy a dozen diosma flowers for yourself and take a big whiff. Write on!

Write on and cheers!

Smita, I'll definitely check it out! I'm not really that popular. Just a few followers here and there, that's all.

I'm glad you enjoyed the quote and write on!

Portland Saturday Market. Bubblegum. Swing sets.

That's three... but I guess there's many things I enjoy!

Love this thought/snack. I wish more bloggers did this, it is totally refreshing, like a writerly palate cleanse. Thanks for it, Vatche!! Hope your coming week is a good one!

I've never been to the Portland Saturday Market, but I would love to visit there someday. Bubblegum and swing sets, I have experienced! Swing sets are awesome especially, because they make you feel like your flying and as you swing, you forget about all your troubles.

Write on and there are plenty of things in life to enjoy!

Thanks, Terresa, for your awesome thoughts! I wouldn't mind if more writers did this, because it's a nice way for people to get their thoughts out to each other and to discover themselves.

I hope your coming week is awesome too and write on!
